We undertake and support a range of research activities. Details of most of these activities appear below.
Annual wage review research – research undertaken or managed by our staff in the Economics Analysis Team and the Pay Equity and Awards Team of the Tribunal Support Branch as part of the annual wage review.
Awards research – research undertaken and organised by our staff in the Pay Equity and Awards Team and the Economic Analysis Team as part of our award reviews and annual wage reviews.
General Manager's reports – research published as part of the General Manager’s three year reports required by the Fair Work Act 2009.
Partnership research projects 2011 – we selected 2 research proposals:
- Fair Work Australia's influence in the enterprise bargaining process, and
- Work, life and flexibility: A qualitative study of requests for flexibility.
Gender pay equity research – research conducted to support an Expert Panel, including investigations and reports about gender pay equity, equal remuneration and the Care and Community Sector in Australia.
Research community – research being undertaken by various external workplace relations academics with support from us.
