The Flight Attendants' Association of Australia (FAAA) has applied for 3 regulated labour hire arrangement orders.

On 5 June 2024, the FAAA applied for 2 labour hire arrangement orders (C2024/3620 and C2024/3622).
They applied under section 306E of the Fair Work Act 2009. They seek regulated labour hire arrangement orders that cover:
- Qantas Domestic Pty Limited and Maurice Alexander Management Pty Ltd as the employers
- employees of Qantas Domestic Pty Limited and Maurice Alexander Management Pty Ltd who perform work for Qantas Airways Limited as cabin crew on aircraft owned and operated by Qantas Airways Limited servicing domestic routes throughout Australia and international routes as regulated employees
- the Flight Attendants’ Association of Australia – Short Haul Division (Qantas Airways Limited) Enterprise Agreement 10 as the host employment instrument
- Qantas Airways Limited as the regulated host
On 12 July 2024, the FAAA applied for a further labour hire arrangement order (C2024/4713). This matter was joined with matters C2024/3620 and C2024/3622.
The FAAA applied under section 306E of the Fair Work Act 2009. They seek a regulated labour hire arrangement order that covers:
- Altara Resources QF Pty Limited as the employer
- employees of Altara QF Pty Resources Limited who perform work for Qantas Airways Limited as cabin crew on aircraft owned and operated by Qantas Airways Limited servicing domestic routes throughout Australia and international routes as regulated employees
- the Flight Attendants’ Association of Australia – Short Haul Division (Qantas Airways Limited) Enterprise Agreement 10 as the host employment instrument
- Qantas Airways Limited as the regulated host
