You may object to an application if you believe the applicant is not eligible to claim unfair dismissal. This is called a jurisdictional objection. The reasons to object are listed below.

The application is out of time
An applicant must apply to the Commission within 21 days after the dismissal took effect. If they don't, their application is late. We call this 'out of time'. When this happens, you may object to the claim. For more information see:
