National Training Wage – reference to Miscellaneous Award 2020
Wage increases for trainees under the National Training Wage (NTW) will come into effect on the same date as modern award minimum wage increases.
This includes modern awards that refer to and incorporate the terms under Schedule E of the Miscellaneous Award 2020, which has an operative date of 1 July 2022.
A temporary note will be inserted into the National Training Wage incorporation clause in awards with an operative date of 1 October 2021. The note will direct users to the rates in Schedule E to the Miscellaneous Award as at the date of the last increase in wages. These rates will be published on a separate page on our website so they are easily accessible for award users.
Notes
Note 1: There are no expense-related allowances in this award.
