Introduction If you were a party involved in the original case, you may apply for permission to appeal. You have 21 days after we made the original decision to submit the application. Content You must meet 2 criteria before you can apply to appeal a decision or order. 1. you were a party in the case so the decision affects your legal interests 2. the person who made the decision or order was: a single Member of the Commission the General Manager (or delegate) of the Commission, for cases about the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009. A person or organisation who is ‘aggrieved’ by a decision may apply to appeal. This includes registered organisations. Note: We do not consider appeals just because you are unhappy or disagree with with the original decision. See Reasons you may appeal.
