The Shop, Distributive and Allied Employees Association (SDA) have applied for a supported bargaining authorisation.

On 5 August 2024, the SDA filed an application to make a supported bargaining authorisation (B2024/992).
The application was made under section 243(1) of the Fair Work Act 2009.
The proposed agreement is to cover 14 employers operating McDonald's franchises in South Australia and their employees contained in Schedule 1 of the Application.
