We are preparing for changes to our functions as a result of the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Closing Loopholes No. 2) Act 2024. Many of these changes start on 26 August 2024.

Right to disconnect
Today we have also published new information about the right to disconnect, including:
- new website content on the right to disconnect, and
- a new fact sheet (pdf)
We have previously published an Implementation Report on the Right to disconnect. You are invited to send feedback on the report to consultation@fwc.gov.au by 5pm (AEST) on Friday 2 August 2024.
