The Closing Loopholes Act has provided us with the power to make regulated labour hire arrangement orders. As part of these changes, we can also make written guidelines in relation to the operation of the regulated labour hire arrangement provisions. If made, these guidelines must be in force by 1 November 2024.
Our President Justice Hatcher has today issued a statement and published draft guidelines for consultation with interested parties. In the statement the President notes that the guidelines, if made, will be updated over time.
