Application to vary the Broadcasting, Recorded Entertainment and Cinemas Award 2020 – reinstating the terms of Schedule X – Additional measures during the COVID-19 pandemic to operate until 30 June 2022.

A. Further to the decision issued by the Fair Work Commission on 11 February 2022 [[2022] FWC 282], the above award is varied as follows:

1. By deleting the words “8 April 2020” and “29 March 2021” in clause X.1 and inserting “22 February 2022” and “30 June 2022” respectively.

2. By deleting the words “29 March 2021” in clause X.2.1(d) and inserting “30 June 2022”.

B. This determination comes into operation on 22 February 2022. In accordance with s.165(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009 this determination does not take effect in relation to a particular employee until the start of the employee’s first full pay period that starts on or after 22 February 2022.
