Application to vary the Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020.

A. Further to the decision [[2021] FWC 3594] issued by the Fair Work Commission on 22 June 2021, the above award is varied as follows:

1. By deleting the definition of “golf trainee” appearing in clause 2 and inserting the following in alphabetical order:

PGA Associate means an individual formally undertaking the Professional Golfers Association’s Membership Pathway Program, for the purposes of becoming a Full Member of the PGA referred to in clause A.3 of Schedule A—Classification Definitions.

2. By deleting the words “Golf trainee” wherever they appear in the table at clause 18.3 and inserting the words “PGA Associate”.

3. By deleting clause A.3.1 and inserting the following:

A.3.1 PGA Associate Year 1 means a first year PGA Associate with the Professional Golfers Association of Australia.

4. By deleting clause A.3.2 and inserting the following:

A.3.2 PGA Associate Years 2 and 3 means an employee who has satisfactorily completed the appropriate level of training to be considered a Year 2 or 3 PGA Associate by the Professional Golfers Association of Australia.

B. This determination comes into operation from 22 June 2021. In accordance with s.165(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009, this determination does not take effect in relation to a particular employee until the start of the employee’s first full pay period that starts on or after 22 June 2021.
