AMUSEMENT, EVENTS AND RECREATION AWARD 2020

Application to vary the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award 2020.

A. Further to the decision [[2021] FWC 3594] issued by the Fair Work Commission on 22 June 2021, the above award is varied as follows:

1. By deleting the definition of ‘golf trainee’ appearing in clause 2 and inserting the following in alphabetical order:

PGA Associate means an individual formally undertaking the Professional Golfers Association’s Membership Pathway Program, for the purposes of becoming a Full Member of the Professional Golfers Association of Australia.

2. By deleting the words “Golf Trainee” appearing in clauses A.2.3 and A.3.2 and inserting “PGA Associate”.

B. This determination comes into operation from 22 June 2021. In accordance with s.165(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009, this determination does not take effect in relation to a particular employee until the start of the employee’s first full pay period that starts on or after 22 June 2021.
