4 yearly review of modern awards – Journalists Published Media Award 2020 – substantive issues – modern award varied – correction

A. The determination issued by the Fair Work Commission on 20 November 2020 [PR719795] is corrected as follows:

1. By renumbering item A.12 to item A.19.

2. By inserting a new item A.12 as follows:

“A.12. By deleting the heading “Regional daily and country non-daily employees—shiftworkers—penalty rates” appearing in clause A.1.8 and inserting “Regional daily, country non-daily and digital publication employees—shiftworkers—penalty rates”.”

3. By inserting item A.13 as follows:

“A.13 By deleting the words “Regional daily” appearing in the table in clause A.1.8 and inserting “Regional daily or digital publication”.”

4. By inserting item A.14 as follows:

“A.14. By deleting the heading “Regional daily and county non-daily employees—shiftworkers—penalty rates” appearing in clause A.2.5 and inserting “Regional daily, country non-daily and digital publication employees—shiftworkers—penalty rates”.”

5. By inserting item A.15 as follows:

“A.15. By deleting the words “Regional daily” appearing in the table in clause A.2.5 and inserting “Regional daily or digital publication”.”

6. By inserting item A.16 as follows:

“A.16. By deleting the heading “Regional daily and country non-daily newspaper—cadets—shiftworkers—penalty rates” appearing in clause A.3.5 and inserting “Regional daily newspaper country non-daily newspaper and digital publication—cadets—shiftworkers—penalty rates”.”

7. By inserting item A.17 as follows:

“A.17. By deleting the words “Regional daily or country non-daily” appearing in the third column of the table in clause A.3.5 and inserting “Regional daily, country non-daily or digital publication”.”

8. By inserting item A.18 as follows:

“A.18. By deleting the words “Regional daily” appearing in the fourth column of the table in clause A.3.5 and inserting “Regional daily or digital publication”.”

B. This determination comes into operation on 1 March 2021. In accordance with s.165(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009 this determination does not take effect in relation to a particular employee until the start of the employee’s first full pay period that starts on or after 1 March 2021.
